Alice Marie Stidman's Obituary
ALICE MARIE STIDMAN, 77 of Ashburn, Virginia passed on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at her home in Ashburn, Virginia.
In Tampa, Florida, on January 19th, 1946, Geraldine Newkirk gave birth to her 4th child, a baby girl named Alice. Though the family struggled, Alice was always blessed to be surrounded by her loving older sisters Mae & Eileen with her older brother Frank close by. After graduating from Sacred Heart Academy, she headed north to settle down in Washington, DC but, to her, home was always Tampa.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Albert “Frank” Stidman; daughter Shannon Stidman of Austin, TX; son Sean Stidman of Arlington, VA; daughter Marianne Inman of Austin, TX; son Frank Stidman of Herndon, VA; son Robert Stidman of Austin, TX; and daughter Rose Jaffe of Leesburg, VA. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, the joy of her life.
A Catholic prayer service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
A graveside service and Interment will take place in Tampa, Florida at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4202 E Lake Ave, Tampa, Florida 33610.
