I will keep your family in my prayers as you mourn the loss of Alvin. I will always remember the warm welcome Alvin extended to me as a new member of the Leesburg Host Lions Club and he was always such a gentleman. Rest in peace.

There will never be another Mr. Moore. He was my first “boss” when we moved to Leesburg in 1975 and he taught me so much about accounting processes. Later he and Mrs Moore became very good friends with my parents and they enjoyed church activities and day trips together. Later he became my go to advice counselor on life and how to become a true Christian. He never said an unkind word about anyone. Many of us will miss him, but I will miss forever as my partner in our special pew at church. With my love until we meet again.
