Alvin Roy Thornton, 58, lifelong resident of Leesburg died on January 1, 2011 in Arlington, VA. Mr. Thornton was born September 20, 1952 in Leesburg to the Mrs. Viola Thornton Jeffries and the late Roy Bush. He was a long haul trucker for many years, traveling the east coast mainly. Mr. Thornton was a horse enthusiast and loved motorcycles.
Mr. Thornton is survived by his beloved mother: Viola Jeffries of Leesburg, three daughters: Ariel Thornton-Nunn of Leesburg, Rebecca Nunn of Leesburg, Stephanie Flores of Bealeton, VA; five sisters; three brothers and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE in Leesburg on Friday, January 14 2011 from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00.
