Anastasia Bedford's Obituary
Anastasia Bedford, 57, devoted wife, mother, daughter and grandmother of Haymarket, Virginia passed away at home with her family by her side on Friday, June 18th 2010. She was born March 25th 1953 in Athens, Greece to Lily Kavouropoulou Kribeni and the late Vasilios Kribeni. Mrs. Bedford moved the family several times over the years due to her husband’s military career. She resided in Dumfries, Virginia before moving to Haymarket in 2004.
Mrs. Bedford is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years: Col. John C. Bedford, USAF, Retired, of Haymarket; her mother: Lily Kribeni of Athens, Greece; five daughters: Cherie & (Jim) Brinkerhoff of Dallas, TX, Lynn & (Jeffrey) Evans of Union Springs, AL, Alina & (Christopher) Clark of Barksdale Air Force Base, LA, Carissa Bedford of Brooklyn, NY, Christina Bedford of Haymarket, VA; two sisters: Nina Breed of Beaver Creek, OH, Dolly Kribeni of Athens, Greece; six grandchildren: Eddie, Ava Lily, John Christopher, Luke, Will, Jesse and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 23rd 2010 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8213 Linton Hall Road, Gainsville, VA at 1:00 pm. Interment will be private at a later date.
