Andrew Cioffi's Obituary
MSgt Andrew Cioffi, USA (ret) of Ashburn, Va., passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Heritage Hall at the age of 87.
He was the son of the late Gino B. Cioffi and the late Antonetta DeSena Cioffi. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Albert Cioffi.
He served 33 years in The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” and is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Oneida Cioffi; son, Gino A. Cioffi; daughter, Diana Snyder and her husband, David; grandchildren, Christopher and Alexandra.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. Burial will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
