Angelo was ALWAYS so fun, inviting, candid, and an absolute joy to be around. He was a veteran golfer when my wife and I joined Belmont in 2001 - I considered him one of the wise ones I looked up to. He always took a great interest in me and my young family at that time and through the years. He and I exchanged many pleasantries on the putting green, driving range and at our BMGA events. As I start to approach the same age that he was when I meant Angelo.....I need to make sure I do the same with the next young golfer and young family. What a dear man and gentleman he was. Angelo was well liked by all of his golfing buddies from the Friday-Sunday golf group. His smile was always there and the personality to match. I was sad and shocked when I found out from Jim Agnew what Angelo was facing upon his return to Virginia. He will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by those who knew him. Rest in Peace friend. Dolly and I met Angelo when we played golf with him and his very good friend Jim Agnew about a year an half ago at Vanderbilt Country Club where Angelo moved to. When you meet someone like Angelo you know right away what a great person he is. I got him into our Friday - Sunday golf group and Dolly and I had dinner with him also.

Angelo was very well liked by all at Vanderbilt and had a great personality and was always upbeat and fun to be with. I enjoyed the many times I played a round with him.

He truly loved his wife of many years and stood by her in her final years. He was a true family man and spoke about his love for his children and grandchildren.

Even though I only knew Angelo for a short period of time I will miss him, he was a true inspiration.

May he rest in peace.
