Ann E. Zajac's Obituary
Ann Elizabeth Zajac, 79 of Ashburn, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA.
Born on September 17, 1939 in Tamsel, Germany. She was the daughter of Heinrich Ernst and Elise Margarethe (Huebner) Silex. She was the wife of the late Wayne Douglas Zajac. Ann is a 1963 graduate of Towson State University. She spent time as a schoolteacher and was a dedicated wife and mother. Ann enjoyed volunteering with her church and in her community. She especially enjoyed serving with Meals on Wheels and at Head Start.
Ann is survived by her two daughters: Catherine (William) Coppedge and Christina (Josh) Freeman, brother Karl (Joan) Silex, brother John (Clara Joe) Silex and three grandchildren: Christopher Coppedge, Jason Coppedge and John Connor Freeman.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday June 10, 2019 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 605 West Market Street Leesburg, VA 20176. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time off the services. Interment will follow at 2:00PM in Quantico National Cemetery Triangle, VA 22172. Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle SE Leesburg, VA 20175.
