Anna Bursky's Obituary
ANNA BURSKY, 100, of Stoneridge, VA died on Saturday, May 23, 2009 in Leesburg, VA. She resided in Ambridge, PA before moving to Arlington in 1993.
Mrs. Bursky was born March 25, 1908 in Ambridge, PA to the late John and Anastasia Tchorak Smolnery. Her husband Stephen Joseph Bursky also predeceased her. Mrs. Bursky is survived by her two children: Elizabeth Ann Donahue of Stoneridge, Stephen J. Bursky of Wichita Falls, TX; one brother and two sisters: Michael Smolnery, Olga Hrycyk, Tillie Kirin all of Baden, PA; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Syka Funeral Home, 866 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 27th at the Saint Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 404 Sixth Street, Ambridge, PA with Father Michael Polosky. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
