You were the most kind and loving person ever and this is from Logan maresca
Dear Frank, Laura & Tony,
Anna had a most beautiful smile and deep love of family and Our Lord. I became friends with Anna when we moved here in 1979 and our daughter Chrissy & Laura became friends at Holy Spirit.
We lost contact with each other when the girls went to different high schools. But, fortunately, Anna came back into my life two more times. When I was volunteering at
Hope in NOVA, Anna walked in the front door to join our volunteers.
I moved to Ashburn four years ago. One Sunday at Mass there was Anna in the pew in front of me! Our friendship was revived once again. Anna joined my Bible Study and we all fell in love with her. Our most endearing memory of Anna was her heartfelt proclamation of "I love Jesus!"
We're certain Jesus loves Anna as do all who met her. I'm very sorry for you loss and the gaping hole in your heart. "Perhaps the hole in your heart is God's way of providing a resting place for your loved one to dwell." My hope's that this quote brings some comfort to you as it has for me.
Laura, Chrissy was saddened by your loss and sends her condolences. She has fond memories of your mom.
Please be assured of our prayers for all of Anna's beloved family.

Our hearts truly go out to you, Frank, and to the entire Maresca family with Anna's passing. We have known you both for practically 40 years, through work and living overseas, and as good friends. In all those years, we never encountered anyone more kind, thoughtful and committed to helping others than Anna. Her generosity and focus on the importance of family were remarkable - just ask our grown up children, who still bring up fond memories of her support in Trinidad - and she taught us all the value of humility.
Your were a lucky guy when you won her heart so long ago, back in your New York community. Anna was a very special person in so many ways and, like you, we will miss her.
With love,
Clark and Laurie Sand
