Anna H. Payne's Obituary
ANNA H. PAYNE, 92 of Leesburg, Virginia passed on Monday, November 7, 2022.
Anna was born Monday, July 21, 1930 in Loudoun County, Virginia. She was a daughter of the late Clarence Hardy and the late Aileen Wyncoop Hardy.
She was predeceased by her husband Dennis Payne; and predeceased by her first husband Harold Clayton Furr.
Anna was a graduate of Leesburg High School. She worked for many years as a secretary employed by Winslow Williams and Associates and later Carol Jackson in Leesburg, VA.
She was a member of Leesburg Community Church. Anna was a very social lady, and had many friends. She loved gardening, collecting bird figurines and tea pots.
She loved to cook; especially family favorites lemon pie and vegetable soup.
Anna leaves her family to cherish her memory including her son, Ronald Clayton Furr, and daughter-in-law Linda, of Hamilton, VA, and Thomas Richard Furr and daughter-in-law Crystal of Alpharetta, GA
.
She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Jane Furr of Shrewsbury, PA; five grandchildren, Ronda Allen, Tina Hukill, Kimberley Tomasic, Kristie Morrison, and Melissa Furr; and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and her parents, Anna was predeceased by her son Donald Harold Furr.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
The family will receive friends prior to the services, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, Virginia.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be sent, in Anna's memory, to Leesburg Community Church at 835 Lee Avenue Leesburg, VA 20175.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
