Annie Lee Shelby's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Annie Lee Shelby announces her passing after a brief illness on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the age of 85.
Annie will be lovingly remembered by her seven children Mary E. Roberts, Dora E. Mullinax, Audrey D. Woolfolk (Dwayne), Anne M. Shelby-Brown (Leonard), Mildred D. Smith (Carl), Hattie D. Collins and Eddie Boyd (Kim). She will also be fondly remembered by her eighteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grand-children. Annie was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Nellie Minke, brother Junior, three sisters Margaret, Vergie and Irene. Annie will also be forever remember3ed by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
A celebration of Annie’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 12-1pm for the viewing followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, VA 20175 with Rev. Lillian B. Taylor officiating. Interment to follow at Tippett’s Hill Cemetery in Sterling, VA. Please share online condolences with the family at loudounfuneralchapel.com
