Araz was blessed with a great sense of humor, which he was generous enough to share with the world. He was an energetic, confident kid that always knew how to crack up a room. He was fundamentally good natured and that made him a great friend to me and others.
Personally, I will always remember watching movies together and talking about our shared love of the Beatles. It is sad that no new memories with Araz can be made, but the memories I do have are worth a lot.
Araz was one of the first friends I made at Nysmith and the first classmate to come over for a sleepover. Whenever I look back at my middle school memories, Araz is always there by my side, either laughing at the crazy thing I did, or I’m laughing at what he did.
Even when apart we would interact on social media just to let the other know we were still watching and invested in each other.
Anybody that got to spend time with Araz was blessed. He was an educated, genuine, and truly a man of the people. No matter what crowd Araz was in people would gravitate to him.
Thoughts and prayers to his immediate and extended family. Binod, Thenthia, Noel, Narayan, and Nalin all send their love.

Araz and I spent a lot of time together back in middle school. We shared many laughs and had some ridiculously goofy conversations. Passing the time with him was easy, never boring and never running out of things to joke about. When we hung out years later at a reunion party, it took two seconds of catching up with him to see that his light-hearted spirit hadn't changed. His presence alone always made the room a bit lighter, funnier and more carefree. I think that's something very rare and special and I'm grateful I got a chance to experience it. He was a good friend to me.

We heard about the unfortunate news regarding Araz's passing. We can't even begin to imagine how much pain you and Esmaal must be feeling. We know you don't want to talk right now, but we wanted to write to you to express how truly heartbroken we are about what happened. Araz was many things: A wonderful person, a kind friend, a thoughtful worker, and a gentle soul. He had so many good qualities that made it seem like he had so much more to contribute to the world, and to all of us. It seemed like he would be with us for a long time to come. Sadly, it seems that just wasn't the case. I know that Araz can never truly be replaced, but if you ever need any sort of caring, love, or even someone to talk to, me and Denize and our whole family will always be right there, willing to help. We hope that Araz can rest peacefully, and that you will be able to continue on from this, never truly forgetting him, and always cherishing the gift of life as long as it is given to you.

I'm so sorry to hear about Araz's passing. I have know his parents for years. He intern for me the summer of 2015. We had a great steak dinner in Houston, Texas in March 2017.
Araz was very smart and caring and had such love for his parents.

Our entire family is devastated to learn of Araz's passing. Araz was such a wonderful young man. Though we had not seen him in many years, out entire family has such fond memories of Araz as a boy. He was so kind to our children when we lived next door. So respectful. It was so nice to see the young man he'd grown up to be. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ismael and Naiyer during this time.
