ARLINE ELIZABETH HALL's Obituary
Arline Elizabeth Hall was born on June 21, 1925, and departed this life on February 28, 2023. Arline was born in Washington, D.C., to the late Anthony and Elizabeth Lee. She was an only child.
Arline attended public schools in Washington, D.C. She later married Malcolm Hall on April 18, 1944. They continued to live in Washington D.C. until moving to Virginia in 1958. From this union, they had five children (one who preceded her in death, Michael and her husband Malcolm). Later in life Arline was employed as a domestic worker and telemarketer.
Arline enjoyed studying the Bible, reading, fishing, vacationing with her family, travelling, playing cards, working cross word puzzles, watching game shows, sports such golf, tennis, and ice skating, and entertaining her grandchildren.
She leaves to mourn her daughters Leslie Newman, Angela Timms (Robert), Janice Shay (Jeffery), and Sharon Hall; five grandchildren, Deborah Toomey, Laura Martinez (Jeff), Jeffery Newman (Merlina), Anthony Hall (Mandy), and Justin Shay; ten great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, a special cousin who was more like a sister, Mildred Spriggs, and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 12 to 1 pm. Funeral services will follow beginning at 1 pm, on Saturday, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Interment will be held at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
