Arthur Gerard Busher Sr's Obituary
Arthur G. Busher, Sr, 74, of Ashburn, VA, formerly of Leesburg, VA, passed away from a courageous battle with ALS.
Arthur is survived by loving wife Julie of Ashburn, VA, son Jerry Busher and daughter in law Martina of Washington, DC, and daughter Patricia and son in law Shannon Angles of Madison, VA.
He also leaves 3 grandchildren to cherish his memory Arianna, Austin and Annabelle Angles; his brother Robert Busher of CT, and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
Arthur was born on August 16, 1943 in Waltham, Massachusetts. He was a son of the late Robert F. and Florence Busher.
He graduated from UMass majoring in hotel and restaurant management, and The Culinary Institute Of America in 1967 as class president.
He worked in Food Service for 50 years for Marriott, ARA and Guest Services including hotels around the country and the Pentagon in Arlington.
Art enjoyed being with his family and friends, taking vacations and playing golf.
He was actively involved in volunteering with Loudoun Hunger Relief for many years and a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus.
Friends may call on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA, for a memorial visitation.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:30 at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Leesburg, VA.
Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
