Arthur Calvin Grimes Sr.'s Obituary
Arthur Calvin Grimes, 97, of Leesburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.
Born on Sunday, April 7, 1929, in Loudoun County, VA. Arthur was the son of the late Herbert Grimes and the late Florence Darnel Grimes.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edith Carter Grimes, one daughter Patsy Diane Woodward and a son Larry Wayne Grimes.
Arthur was employed as a maintenance engineer at Springwood Behavioral Hospital.
Arthur leaves his family to cherish his memory including his sons, Calvin Grimes, Jr., and James Clifton Grimes, and his daughters, Joyce Ann Simmons, and Tammy Grimes, and 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
