Arthur Emil Brendel's Obituary
Arthur Emil Brendel, 88 of Lovettsville, VA died on Thursday, September 2, 2010.
Arthur was born in Ruszkewek, Poland. He was raised in Beaver Falls, PA.
Mr. Brendel served his country honorably for over 22 years in the United States Air Force, obtaining the rank of Master Sergeant, and continued his service with the Federal Aviation Administration in Flight Service for over 20 years.
He was a member of the Lovettsville Game Club, the American Legion Post 293, he was a former member of the Shriners and a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Sheila R. Brendel, of Lovettsville, VA, and his sons; Robert Arthur Brendel of Purcellville, VA and Kerry James Brendel of Bluemont, VA, and 3 grand children.
Friends may call on Thursday, September 9, 1010 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. Services and Interment will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:00 am at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
