Audrey Frances Wilt's Obituary
AUDREY FRANCES WILT, 78, a life long resident of Loudoun County died on Saturday, July 8, 2006 in Leesburg, VA.
Mrs. Wilt was the loving mother of three children: Lori W. and husband Gary Skidmore of Hamilton, VA, Michael D. and wife Darlene Wilt of Adamstown, MD, and the late Anthony Wilt. She is also survived by three sisters: Thelma Everittes of Brunswick, MD, Hilda Miller of Williamsburg, VA, Wandalee “Bonnie” Wharton of Cumberland, MD; two grandchildren: Veronica Wilt of Huntington Beach, California, Grant Skidmore of Hamilton, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Brown/Loudoun Funeral Chapel 34 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA on Tuesday July 11, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Services will follow at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00am with Rev. Roland England officiating.
Interment: Lovettsville Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA.
Mrs. Audrey Frances Wilt was born September 6, 1927 in Taylorstown, VA to the late Lytal J. and Myrtle E. Rollison Baker. She attended the Taylorstown School and Lovettsville High School. Mrs. Wilt was a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Taylorstown, VA. She married the late Raymond Grant Wilt (April 5, 1980) on September 16, 1944 in Doubs, MD. Mrs. Wilt had a wonderful sense of humor and will be remembered as a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, collecting Honey Bee and Bumble Bee collectibles and vacationing with her family in Deep Creek Lake or Ocean City, Maryland. In addition to her parents, husband, and son a brother James A. Baker predeceased her. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff and residence of Sunrise Assisted Living of Leesburg, for the care, compassion, and friendship that mom received.
