Querida Catherine, lamentamos profundamente lo ocurrido. No pudo mas que asombrarnos esta ingrata noticia. Agustin era una persona muy querible debajo de su aparente rigidez. Un ser con mucho sentido del humor y de una capacidad de trabajo increible. Tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con el y de gozar de su compañía y amistad, como de la tuya, desde los primeros años de San Pedro, ese lugar que tenía tan metido en su corazón. Recuerdo como adoraba estar con sus caballos a los que tenía tan disciplinados que decíamos todos sus compañeros que marchaban al son de La Marsellesa. Muchos recuerdos muy lindos! Querida Catherine te hacemos llegar nuestro mas sentido pésame y el deseo de que puedas superar junto a tus hijos y nietos este momento.

As I sat down a day before yesterday to write my annual birthday e-mail to my friend Augustin, I came across a message from a common friend, communicating Augustin had passed away. After a brief moment of confusion and disbelief, reality finally stroked me and in a mix of laughs and tears, a flashback immediately started in my mind. I was fortunate enough to live several experiences with Augustin, ranging from the daily routine in the office to lunches and dinners, always dully accompanied by a Brazilian drink - “caipirinha”. As a person, I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Augustin and share experiences with him… As a young professional, I benefited from Augustin’s experience, coaching, patience and kindness. Augustin facilitated the opening of range of possibilities that led me to where I am today. My family and I will always be grateful to him and to Catherine, Vincent and Sebastien for letting we borrow their husband/father. Augustin’s mission was to spread good seeds throughout the world – and that he also accomplished with perfection! RIP peace my friend and thank you for everything.

Augustin was for me my mentor (I am sure he was also for many people). We enjoyed working together in Latin America including Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, México and little bit in Orlando.
I will rmember him always as a great leader but also as a very good friend of mine. He desserve all my respect and I wanted to presente to you my sincere condolences.
