What a shock! Oh my, oh my, oh my! Austin was a vibrant person who lit up his surroundings with smiles, laughter and comments, whatever the discussion topics, and especially if it came to the things he was passionate about. Austin, rest in peace.
Austin was one of the kindest people I ever knew. We became best friends in 9th grade when we met in guitar class. As the year went on, our inside jokes grew. We talked every day and invented a fictional world called “rainbowland” where we could escape our troubles. I still have our drawings in my childhood bedroom. He was the first friend I had who made me feel fully accepted; he loved others hard and held little back. We drifted apart over the years, but I will never forget the laughs and the countless times he made me feel understood. My heart goes out to your family and close friends. Austin, I won’t forget you. I first met this awesome young man, when he was in my 8th grade class at harmony Intermediate, he did not like losing ,even in pin dodge. He was an amazing competitor, and by the end of class drenched in sweat. Austin was 1 of my favorite memories from Harmony. No matter where I saw him, no matter we we were, I knew I was in for 1 big ass hug if I saw Austin, and I was right:) RIP my friend, you will be missed, M.Fuqua
Austin was one of my first friends in high school. He always knew how to make me and everyone around us laugh. We often would tell jokes and wonder about what the world would be like when we got older. I have the fondest memories of him and will cherish them forever. Rest easy Austin, I’ll miss you dearly.
