Autumn Grace Ta Irineo's Obituary
Autumn Grace Ta Irineo, named after her mom's favorite season, entered her parents' lives on 30 March just as quickly and furiously as she left it. She was determined to be a March baby, to share a birthday with her grandma and cousins. Autumn was born 18 hours after mommy's water broke, allowing mommy just enough time to clean the house for her arrival, and for daddy to drop off older sister Sam at doggy daycare. A considerate baby girl even before she was born.
Autumn knew she did not have much time with her parents. She wanted to say a quick hello, show mommy that she had a good, strong latch (she knew it was important for mom to know that she would eat well), a hearty burp, and to show off her tight, firm grip on daddy's fingers letting him know she'd be a strong basketball player. She wanted to show mommy that dad had the dominant genes on this one, taking the curly hair, dimples, slender long nose, and piano fingers. She gave her mom and dad the happiest and best 6 hours of their lives. To experience the blessing and love of holding her tight in their arms, through her last breath.
Autumn left this world after furiously battling a congenital heart defect that would not let her win. She wanted dad to know she was a fighter and would continue to fight until she could no longer, and with her last kicks, said goodbye to mom and dad on Easter Sunday, entering the next world to be with both her grandpas.
Autumn will be remembered, loved, and missed every single day.
Autumn's chosen Saint name for those of the Catholic faith is St. Grace.
