The entire Durrin Family are in my thoughts and prayers today and in the days ahead. Barbara was one of the loveliest people I’ve even blessed to know. I send my sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to you all.
Dear Mrs. Durrin, so many memories, dear Friends' Mom, Girl Scout Leader, so many kindnesses'. I would have had no costumes for Guys and Dolls in High School, (possibly not even a part) if not for her and Mrs. Payne. My mother did not like my theatre bent and they encouraged her and helped so much! Those lovely cabbage roses! I love you and admire you so much. I am forever grateful to you and will remember you forever!!

I met Barbara when she was staying at the same rehab facility as my mom. Barbara was a grace-full lady. She was much loved by her family. She was so very proud of them. What a legacy she leaves!
