Barbara Louise Kuhler's Obituary
BARBARA LOUISE KUHLER, 93 of Round Hill, Virginia passed on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. She was the wife of the late Charles “Chuck” Kuhler who preceded her in death.
Born August 18, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Louis Donadio and the late Lena Figundio Donadio. Barbara was raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Brightwaters, NY after marriage. She then moved to Round Hill, VA and resided there the rest of her life.
Barbara was a graduate of Hunter College. She was a dedicated and compassionate educator who devoted many years to teaching in New York and with Loudoun County Public Schools. She touched countless lives through her commitment to education and her care for her students.
Barbara leaves her family to cherish her memory including her son, Charles “Chuck” (Amy) Kuhler, daughter Susan (Rob) Weiderhold; 6 grandchildren - Christopher (Ashley) Kuhler, Jonathan Kuhler, Allison Weiderhold, Abigail Weiderhold, Anna Weiderhold, and Austin Weiderhold; 2 great grandchildren - Patience Jane Kuhler and Gabriel Kuhler. The family extends sincere gratitude to William “Bill” Wiley, who provided companionship and support to her for many years.
A graveside service will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Hillsboro Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Tom Simmons officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Purcellville, VA where she was a member for many years or the Round Hill Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department in Round Hill, VA.
