Barbara C. McClellan's Obituary
Barbara Ellen McClellan, age 66, passed away in the early morning hours of February 14th, 2015, in Palm Coast, FL.
She was born July 31st, 1948 to Allen and Polly Cross in Leesburg, Virginia. Barbara held positions at the Pentagon in the Naval Department, and George Barton Enterprises. She spent most of her career with Loudoun Times Mirror, working there nearly 30 years. In most recent years she stayed home and cared for her granddaughter Kaitlyn.
Barbara and her loving husband Roger recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. Some of her favorite things included Roses, Stevie Nicks, romantic comedies, and spending time with her family and friends whom she loved dearly.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind her husband Roger, her only son Roger (RD), her granddaughter Kaitlyn and her grandson Christian all of Palm Coast, Fla, a brother Joseph Cross of Hamilton, VA, three sisters, Judy Lawson, Kathy Athey, and Misty Miran all of Leesburg, VA and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel. Burial followed at Lovettsville Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
