BARBARA N. SENSABAUGH, 88 of Leesburg, Virginia passed on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Morningside House of Leesburg in Leesburg, Virginia surrounded by family and friends .
Born Tuesday, January 1, 1935, in Loudoun County, VA; she was a daughter of the late Amos Newton and the late Linnie Fry Newton.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Harold and her sister, Evelyn McKimmey.
Barbara grew up in Lucketts, VA and was a graduate of Leesburg High School. After high school, Barbara was employed by C&P telephone and retired after 40 plus years as a Group Manager. Barbara also was an active member of the Leesburg Community Church where she enjoyed helping her husband Harold cook for the congregation.
Barbara leaves both her family and friends to cherish her memory including many nieces and nephews and devoted members of the church and neighbors.
A Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175 with the Pastor Ed Nalle officiating.
The family will receive friends for a visitation prior to the funeral from 10 to 11 am.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
