Barbara Tubley's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara T. (Tromans) Tubley, 80, of Lansdowne, VA, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, VA.
Born on Dec. 22, 1927 in Bridgeport, CT. She was the daughter of the late Earl Tromans and the late Kathrine (Egbert) Tromans.
Mrs. Tubley was a graduate of the Kathrine Gibbs School of Boston and a member of the Embroiderers Guild of America.
She is survived by her husband Col. George F. Tubley, USMC, Ret. of Lansdowne; her daughter, Kathy (Tubley) Ballard & son-in-law Larry of Falls Church, VA, her son, CDR David A. Tubley, CHC, USN & daughter-in-law, Alice of San Diego, CA; and three grandchildren, Matthew Ballard, Andrew & Peter Tubley.
Graveside services and interment will be held privately at Arlington National Cemetery Monday, March 24, 2008.
