Baxter “Johnny” Rupert Wilt, 80 of Taylorstown, Virginia passed on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born Thursday, December 11, 1941, in Leesburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late Outterbridge Wilt and Lillian Stream Wilt.
Johnny was predeceased by his parents and sister, Barbara Barr.
He is survived by his sisters, Dolores Green of Frederick, Maryland; Phyllis Spinks of Taylorstown, Virginia; and Sharon Dennis of Staunton, Virginia, nine (9) nieces and nephews, as well as a host of great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, and on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 13266 Taylorstown Road, Taylorstown, Virginia.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, July 6 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen King Sr. officiating.
Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery, Taylorstown, Virginia.
