Beatrix G. Bartalos' Obituary
Beatrix (“Bea”) Gal Bartalos, 81, of Sterling, VA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. She was born on August 16, 1940, in Budapest, Hungary to the late Eugene Gal and Erzsebet Feher Gal.
While growing up in Budapest, she attended Eötvös Loránd University and graduated in 1964 where she held a master’s degree in Biochemistry. After college, Beatrix became an educator, teaching natural science. She later migrated to the United States in 1974, for a better life. She married the late Edward Bartalos on May 12, 1977, in Alexandria, VA. The two, settled in Fairfax, Virginia, and Bea became homemaker to her two children Claire and Eddie.
Many knew Bea to have an infectious smile and caring heart. She loved nature, baking sweets, and writing. She always found ways to warm your heart by passing on words of encouragement, verses from the bible, or a card to bring a ray of sunshine into your heart. Her kind words ended with “lots of love and millions of kisses.”
She is survived by her two living children, Claire Bartalos, of Herndon, VA and son, Edward (Eddie) Bartalos (Kylene), of Manassas, VA; four grandchildren, Monica Bartalos, Jasmine Bartalos, Emilia Bartalos, and Jerimiah Bartalos; as well as other nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
