BELINDA JEAN LAY's Obituary
Belinda Jean Lay, 42 of Fredericksburg, VA, formerly a native of Leesburg, VA, passed on May 22, 2022.
Belinda was a daughter of the late Sally Jean Lay Payne, and Paul Allen Carter (Deborah) of Bergton, VA.
She attended Loudoun County High School. Before developing her career as a CNA she worked as a caregiver in Loudoun County. She was very conscientious in serving her patients with dignity, respect, and true compassion. Belinda enjoyed being around family, cooking and having a good time. She touched the lives of many people with her smile and let’s not forget about her laughter and countless memories.
Belinda leaves her family to cherish her memory including her four children, Devin, Dominic, Danyelle and Juan; her loving grandson, Josiah; and her devoted niece, Nakia. She will forever be remembered by her loving sisters, Billie Adams of Ashburn, VA; Manda Washington of Lake Frederick, VA; April Carter of Middletown, VA; Christina White of Stephens City, VA; Rachael McClosky of Stephens City, VA; and her loving brother Christopher Lyons of Mechanicsville, MD along with countless nieces, nephews and friends that were blessed to know her.
Memorial services will be held privately by the family.
