Belva Graham Brady's Obituary
Belva Graham Brady, 79, a lifelong resident of Lovettsville, VA passed away on October 5th 2011 at Greenfield Assisted Living in Berryville, VA surrounded by her family. Belva was born January 8th 1932 in Lovettsville to the late Fred and Bernice Brown Graham. Her husband, John E. Brady and a son-in-law, Lewis Thompson also predeceased her. Belva attended elementary and high school in Lovettsville and later attended the Hagerstown Business School. She was a member of the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church where she had been a passionate member of the choir for many years. Belva had served on the Lovettsville Historical Society and over the years had worked at the practices of Drs. Joseph M. Rogers, Sam Morrison and David M. Mathis.
Mrs. Brady is survived by her children: Cindy Thomas (Meady) of Wendell, NC, Kay Brady of Sterling, VA, Rita Rollison (Dwayne) of Lovettsville, Fred Brady (Robin) of Purcellville, VA; five grandchildren: Erin Tucker, Graham Thomas, Genia Brady and Brian and Sarah Rollison; three great grandchildren, an aunt Charlotte (Shottie) Brown, numerous cousins and her “good boy” Sam.
Friends may call on Saturday, October 8th 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Brown/Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 34 East Broad Way in Lovettsville. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM on Sunday, October 9th the New Jerusalem, 12942 Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church Road in Lovettsville. Interment will be in Lovettsville Union Cemetery.
