Benjamin D. Crouch's Obituary
Mr. Benjamin Douglas Crouch was born on September 8, 1937 in Prince William County, VA, the son of Woody Thomas Crouch and Grace May McIntosh Crouch. He died on December 12,2009 at Birmingham Green Nursing Home in Manassas, VA. Mr. Crouch resided at LTSH and NVTC from 1949-1979. He moved to the Family of Friends Group Home in Purcellville, VA in 1979 and lived there until 1989. Mr. Crouch resided in Adult Foster Homes from 1989-1996 and moved to Birmingham Green Nursing Home on 8/19/96 where he continued to live until his death. Mr. Crouch was the sixth of seven sons. He worked at ECHO from 7/1/75 to 3/18/08 and spent his later years at ECHO participating in the Medically Fragile Program. Mr. Crouch worked on a variety of ECHO work crews including printing shops and mail rooms, and was a very dedicated mail worker who never wanted to miss a day of work.
Mr. Crouch is survived by his brother, Ralph Crouch and his beloved friends, Nancy and Josh Williams.
A private burial will be held at Lovettsville Cemetery on 12/30/09 and a memorial service celebrating Mr. Crouch's life will be held at Birmingham Green in March 2010.
