Matt, Diane, and Brian, Warren and I were sad to hear of Bernice's death, and pray that each of you will--over time--substitute the grief you now feel with memories of good times you had with your wife or mother. We thought when we saw Bernice at Glenn's memorial service that it was probably the last time we would see her not only because of her illness, but also because Glenn's death hit her so hard, (as it did all of us). It simply doesn't seem right when a child predeceases his parent and we feel sure that this weighed on her. We know that Diane, Brian, Susie, and Debby along with his grandchildren will take charge of making sure that Matt is able to carry on. Still, we can imagine that his heart is broken right now. We wish for you, Matt, and for the entire family the deep peace that is referenced in this Celtic blessing:
Deep peace of the running wave to you;
Deep peace of the flowing air to you;
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you;
Deep peace of the shining stars to you;
Deep peace of the gentle night to you;
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you.
Deep peace of Christ, the light of the world to you.
Deep peace of Christ to you.
Love to you all,
Libby and Warren Street
