Betty Jean Bates' Obituary
Betty Jean Bates passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2020 at the age of 61. Shewas born on June 23, 1959 in Leesburg, VA to Robert Lee Bates and Goldie Lee (Frye) Bates.
She had a great sense of humor and was a very giving person. She enjoyed spending time relaxing at Colonial Beach. She enjoyed her growing her collection African Violets and Orchids.
Betty had been a loving caregiver to her late mother and took over for the care of her nephew, RD Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Cindy and her beloved dog, Reese.
Surviving in addition to her sister, Debbie are Alicia, Mariah, RD, Austin and Logan.
No service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
