I am so saddened to hear of Betty's passing. Such a sweet and wonderful lady who was such a great example of a woman of faith. We will dearly miss her at our yearly gathering in August and it will definitely not be the same. Please know how much I wish I could attend the funeral but time and distance will not allow. Ed: Paula and I have been so effected by Betty's passing. Only two weeks ago we shared a evening in Washington and Betty was as always, so kind, delightful... being especially nice to Paula. Paula related to me afterwards their shared memories of our time together in Istanbul. They both loved the travel that took them across the world. They also shared the common life stories of being from a small rural town and what wonders came to them across the years. We have no way to express our sorrow with your loss..... We have experienced one form of trauma with Paula's health but my friend, you a far deeper loose.... Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Herb
