Betty Jo Cooper's Obituary
Elizabeth Josephine Cooper (Betty Jo) 84, of Purcellville, VA was called home to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on April 9, 2024.
Betty Jo passed peacefully at her home in the presence of her family. Betty Jo was born on September 15, 1939 in Wheatland, VA.
She was predeceased by her husband Roy Cooper, her father Luther Utterback, her mom Louise Utterback, her two brothers Edward and Butch Utterback, her son Roy Lynn Cooper and her great granddaughter Kinsley Kay Jewell.
She leaves behind her three children, Denise (Ray) Manna, Brenda (Kevin) Jewell and Scotty (Jennie) Cooper and eight grandchildren Kristin Manna, Seth (Casey) Jewell, John (Sara) Manna, Andrew (Brice) Jewell, Logan Cooper, Adam Jewell, Sarah Jewell, and Skye Cooper and seven great grandchildren Bennett, Abby, Lucy, Jax, Adelyn, Millie and RenLee.
She will be loved and missed but will live on in all of our memories and hearts.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Hamilton Baptist Church 16 E Colonial Hwy, Hamilton, VA 20158 with a service immediately following at 11:00 AM.
