Betty Jane Simmons Dvorsky's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jane Simmons Dvorsky, 75 former resident of Loudoun County, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at her home in Ranson, West Virginia.
Betty was born Wednesday, June 19, 1935 in Leesburg. She was the daughter of the late Charles Ashby Beans and the late Mabel Agnes Crim Beans. Betty was born and raised in Loudoun County. She graduated from Lovettsville High School and worked as a switchboard operator at Leesburg Hospital. After many years as a homemaker, she went to work for AH&T Insurance Company from which she retired as a Mailroom Administrator in 2009 with 29 years of service.
She is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Kenneth Lee Dvorsky of Ranson; her two sons, Charles Richard and Bonita Simmons, of Leesburg, and Robert Allen and Lisa Simmons of Mt. Juliet, TN. She is also survived by her brother Charles Robert Beans of McLean, VA, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.
Betty was predeceased by her first husband Charles R. Simmons, Sr. in 1994, and one brother, William Mason Beans in 2008.
A visistation was held on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm and on Saturday from 1 to 2 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
The Funeral service was at 2:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with the Pastor Matthew Denby officiating. Interment followed in Lovettsville Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA.
