Betty Lou Peake was called to be with God in heaven on 24 Jan 08.
Born in Opp, Alabama she graduated from Opp High School. She was employed by the federal government as a financial management specialist, deputy accounting finance office, comptroller=92s office for 35 years and =
was in the Pentagon on 911.
Betty was a loving, dedicated mother and wife. Her passing leaves a grieving husband and two adult children, Kristie , of Woodbridge, VA ,and Gregory, of Chicago, IL.
Betty lived a simple life with her husband of 47+ years, who was always
with her. Their life was dedicated to each other and rarely asked for assistance from anyone. Betty square and round danced with her husband for over 26 years in several states, including Hawaii, during her husband 92 s military career.
Interment will be private at Arlington National Cemetery. Contributions
may be made to the American Cancer Society, Northern Virginia.
