Beulah Mae Blaylock's Obituary
OBITUARY INFORMATION
BEULAH MAE BLAYLOCK, 87, of Leesburg, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 in Arlington, VA. Mrs. Blaylock was born June 17, 1925 in Tazewell, VA to the late Clarence and Lydia Martin. She is predeased by her her husband Carl H. Blaylock,.a daughter, Patricia "Patsy" Rutherford and a son, Carl “Sonny” Blaylock. She moved to Loudoun County during the 1950's and worked with several companies in Leesburg including Drug Fair, Mighty Midget Kitchen, the cafeteria at Kmart and, the Bakery. Mrs. Blaylock was known as “Nanny” to all the grand kids and “Aunt Boots” to the nieces and nephews. She cared for children her entire life. Mrs. Blaylock will be remembered as a witty, strong and caring woman that enjoyed Cooking, Bingo, Crocheting and above all, FAMILY.
Mrs. Blaylock is survived by her five children: Jerry Blaylock of Bunker Hill, WV, Sheila Blaylock of Leesburg, Cathy Ferrell of Leesburg, Johnny Blaylock of Snow Shoe, PA, Heith Kirk of Leesburg; a brother: Bill Martin of Front Royal, VA, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and other family members and friends.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 14 2013 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr., SE in Leesburg from 12 until time of services at 1:00pm with Heith Kirk officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Leesburg.
