Bhikhubhai Dahyabhai Patel's Obituary
Bikhubhai Patel was born on 1st July 1947, in Shegave, India. He was the youngest of four siblings. His father Dahyabhai, and mother Jethiben had longed for a son, and they were blessed with a son whom they loved dearly.
Bhikhubhai completed his high school studies at TATA High School in Navsari, and completed 2 years at Garda College. He moved to the UK in 1968 and married Champben Patel in July 1970. They settled in Birmingham. Daughter Varsha was born in October 1974, followed by elder son Paresh in February 1977, and Hemal in September 1978.
He worked hard to provide for his family and the pivotal moment of his life took place in 1977 when he met his Guru Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj. He was a devout aspirant and served the BAPS Sanstha. Satsang was a major part of his life, and He raised his children to love Satsang. He was blessed to have the "rajipau" of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, whom on many occasions upon seeing Bhikhubhai would say "Aa tau amaaraa chhe."
