Billie Gerald Walker, 36, departed this life on Friday, October 15, 2010 to join his Heavenly father. Billie was born on January 20, 1974 in Brooklyn, NY to Mable Walker Smith and Billie Gene Smith.
Billie was educated in Fairfax County School System where he attended Hutchinson Elementary, Herndon Intermediate and South Lakes High school. He was known by all for his gracious smile and his kind heart. Billie’s smile would magnify any room that held his presence. Billie will be missed and loved by many, but no more quiet walks or pain that he will have to endure. We prayed without ceasing asking God to do his will and our prayers were answered. No longer will Billie have to wonder when his pain is going to end because he is now resting peacefully.
Billie leaves to mourn and cherish his memories: Mother, Mable Walker Smith of Reston, VA; Father, Billie Gene Smith (Patricia) of , MD. Four Sons; Billie Walker, Nnamani Walker, Gerald Walker, Marshaun Walker all of Sterling VA. Three Daughters Nastajia Walker of Reston, VA; Nyla Washington of NC and Kiara Corbin of Stafford, VA . Two Brothers Christopher Walker of Reston VA; Bobby Smith of Reston VA. One Sister Lisa Walker of Reston VA. Three other children that were like his own: Shynettra Foxworth, Elliot Johnson and TaLiek Washington, A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, close family and friends who all loved him.
Friends may call on Friday, October 22nd 2010 at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 4611 Sheriff Road, N.E. in Washington, DC from 10 am until time of services at 11:00 am with Pastor Freddie Davis officiating. Interment will follow in National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA.
