Brenda was a beautiful person both inside and out. I remember our school days. I cannot recall a time that I didn't see her without a smile on her face. She was always a bubbly and loving person. I pray strength and comfort to the family. To know Brenda was to love her.

I knew Brenda from th Doctor's office she and Paul Came to years ago. (Catoctin Family Practice in Leesburg) She had the most beautiful smile and was always so happy. Paul, I am so sorry for your loss but I am sure she is with her Lord and smiling at everyone she meets. Love to you and your Family, Carol Scarbrough

Hi folks,
My name is Steve and I have worked here at the US Geological Survey since 1991. I know Brenda, and I know her sister Patsy too. I created Brenda's work area for her where she worked for Water Resources Division. Brenda and I had great laughs, she loved to laugh and she had lots of spirit just like Patsy. And Patsy, I remember when she got up on the stage at the USGS auditorium to get an award, the whole crowd knew Patsy and there was a wonderful "woo" that rose from the crowd cause everyone knew Patsy. Well Patsy smiled ear to ear cause she knew everyone in that room. The crowd went wild. Wow, she had impact, through many wonderful relationships she had with a great number of people across the years in that room that day. I was really deflated when I heard of Brenda's passing.
There are people who you remember who know how to live and how to have a presence in people's lives and treated others like they would expect those to treat them in return. Brenda was like that. And as they say The apple does not fall far from the tree." Both of these children of God had to have had stellar parents, stellar!!!!!
I have missed Patsy and will miss Brenda too. At least I am happy to accept, they are both doing a lot of "catching-up" together now, and I really hope to see them both again.
Thank you for this opportunity to express my thoughts on two wonderful people.
