Bruce T. Diamond's Obituary
Bruce T. Diamond, 75 of Reston, Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024, at Lansdowne Heights Memory Care in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born in Chicago, IL on May 20,1949, the oldest of two children to Joe and Deena Diamond.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Deena Diamond, and his first wife Jeannette (Butler-Lucas-Diamond).
He is survived by his wife Karen (2011) and his loving children; Stuart Diamond of Fairfield, OH, Kelly Hicks of Connersville, IN, Kim (Tom) Windmeier of Geneva, IL and Glenn Lucas of Fond Du Lac, WI. His extended family; Karen's son; Cole (Stephanie) and their two children (Marian and Carson) of West Virigina.
Bruce also had a host of grandchildren; Eric Windmeier (Kim & Tom Windmeier), Sebastian (Andi) Lucas, James Lucas, Shane (Jammie) Lucas (Kelly Hicks) and Christina Lucas (Glenn Lucas). His loving sister Paula Diamond of Cherry Valley, IL, and niece; Dayna (Brian) Diamond-Berry of Whitefish, MT.
Bruce served in the US Army (69-71) stationed at Fort Collins, Colorado After his military service, he married Jeannette (1972-2001). After completing his education (finance & accounting) at the Walton School of Commerce (1971) he worked as an internal auditor with the Parsons Corporation for over 40 years. Retiring in 2011.
After retirement, he married Karen Mabie in 2011. They enjoyed visiting with friends and family, taking walks and playing bridge. In between playing (and sometimes winning) bridge tournaments they enjoyed vacationing all around the world.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at
