Bruce Stratton Spade's Obituary
Bruce S. Spade passed away Wednesday, April 27, at his home in Stafford,
Virginia. He was born August 3, 1941, in Meadow Bridge, the son of
Ealzie Arnold Spade and Goldie (nee Morris) Spade Hayes, who preceded
him in death. He is survived by his life’s companion, Ellen Pierce; one
son, A. Alan Spade (Shelly) of Stanley, Virginia; one sister, Dorcus
(Jim) McBrayer of Rugby, Tennessee; one brother, Jeffrey (Sheryl) Hayes
of Bedford, Virginia; and a grandson, Robbie Spade of Stanley, Virginia.
There will be a grave-side service starting at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 3,
at the Patton cemetery in Meadow Bridge. The family requests that any
memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choosing.
