When Bryan and Julie were very young, we brought them and their mother, Wendy, to a holiday buffet that had an extensive selection of food. Throughout the meal, I noticed that Bryan was only eating one dish. I asked him if he wanted to try the other dishes, and he replied, "No, I only want to eat this." About 2 years ago at a holiday meal, Bryan told me that he will never forget the time that we brought him to the buffet because that was the first time that he tasted a Caesar salad and has loved it since. His love affair with food extended to bulgogi, the Korean beef barbecue that Bryan loved to eat so much. Bryan sure loved his bulgogi - he can eat platefuls of them in one sitting!
As big as Bryan's appetite is for food, Bryan more than anything, has a big heart - a heart full of love and concern - as a son, a brother, a nephew, a friend.
Our family is grieving because of a life lost too soon on someone who was so dedicated in taking care of his Mom. We will greatly miss him. But we will treasure all the memories of this young man whom I am proud to call my nephew.
We love you Bryan!
