Calvin Ellis Skelton, Jr.'s Obituary
Calvin Ellis Skelton, Jr., 81, born June 3, 1928 in Texas, and died January 15, 2010 in Reston, VA. Calvin served in the Navy during the Korean War and settled in Las Cruces, New Mexico to raise his family. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland and worked as an Aerospace Engineer for NASA on the Apollo and Space Shuttle Missions; he retired from Unisys in 2002.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Skelton, Nov. 5, 1995 and his sister Erwinna McNabb of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jan. 11, 2010.
He is survived by his daughter, Twila Meyer and her husband David, granddaughters Amber Davis and her husband Jacob, and Amy Meyer and great-grandson Brayden Davis all of Sterling, VA. He is also survived by sister Oma Rae Wallace of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
