Carl Eugene Russell's Obituary
Carl Eugene Russell age 93, of Taylorstown, Virginia, passed away on December 4, 2012 in Leesburg, Virginia.
Carl was born on January 31, 1919 in Taylorstown. He was one of 10 children born to the late William Thomas Russell and the late Mary Ellen Williams Russell.
Carl worked for the B & O Railroad as a line man for forty years.
He is survived by his wife, of 36 years, Mary Elizabeth Russell; step-children, Dorothy Mullen and her husband, Martin of Winchester, Bobby Isaacs, and his wife, Connie of Lucketts and Fran Poston and her husband, Duane of Boyce; thee step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces nephews, cousins, family and friends.
The last of ten siblings, Carl is predeceased by Goldie Sugars, Raymond Russell, Maude Umbaugh, Willie Russell, Herbert Russell, Alice Russell, Roy Russell, Grace Reedy, and Elmer Russell.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Reverend Elfie Finn- McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
