CAROL KENNEDY's Obituary
CAROL ALLYN KENNEDY, 50 of Ashburn, Virginia passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
Born Tuesday, December 7, 1971 in Arlington, VA. Carol was predeceased by her mother, Sandra Sue Summerville Bicknell, and Carol’s fiancée, Geoffrey Alain Chamot.
She worked in IT as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Tyler Technologies.
Carol was successful in her professional life and impacted everyone she met with her amazing kindness and smile that lit up the room. Carol enjoyed the outdoors, hiking in the mountains, spending time at the ocean and loved animals. One of her simplest pleasures was the time she spent with her three beloved Himalayan cats Inyx, Echo and Figgy. Her family, friends and cats meant the world to her. She will be missed beyond measure.
She leaves her family to cherish her memory including, her father, Allen R. Kennedy and sister, Lori K. Powell of Ashburn, VA, step mother, Suzanne W. Kennedy, brother-in-law, William E. Powell, nieces, Madison Nicole Powell and Emma Grace Powell and nephew, Nicholas William Powell; and her step brother, Brian A. Simmons.
Services and inurnment will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2 pm, at Renwick Chapel in Oak Hill Cemetery, Washington, DC.
