Carol Margaret Mary Printz's Obituary
Carol Margaret Mary Printz, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She was born on November 28, 1944 to William and Ann Printz.
Carol was pre-deceased by her parents.
Carol worked as a Social Worker in the courts in Newark, New Jersey, serving as a voice for voiceless children who were the victims of abuse. She loved children and was fearless in her determination to protect them. She retired from the Division of Children and Family Services in June of 2000 and moved to Virginia so she could enjoy the activities offered in the Washington, D.C. area.
She loved animals and found great comfort and joy in her pets.
Carol had a heart for the poor – she loved to surprise people with food, clothing, toys, a new bed…whatever was needed. She was a compassionate person who took notice of those around her and helped whenever she could.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19 from 4-6pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 20th at 10:30am at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 55 Oakcrest Manor Drive SE, Leesburg. Burial will follow at St. John the Apostle Cemetery.
