Carolyn Coppage, 71, of Gainesville, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. She was born in Missouri to the late Emmett and Wanza Wilson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband, R Read Obituary
Carolyn and I have been friends for 32 years-we were like sisters. We met at Flow General in McLean and remained friends all these years. We shared our ups and downs, and silly stories. She was with me in the delivery room when my children were born. I called her every night when I left work just to chat. Dick's birthday was December 1, so I know she went to be with him--he missed him immensely. Dick and Ryan were everything to her.
Carolyn and I shared many wonderful and humorous stories as well as interesting outings during the years she was my next door neighbor in Heritage Hunt. I still can't absorb the fact that I'll not see her again. I will greatly miss her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends, many of whom I feel I know, though never met.
