Carroll Sue Atkinson Milbourne's Obituary
Carroll SUE Atkinson MILBOURNE, 76, long time resident of Loudoun County, passed on Tuesday, November 25, 2008, in her home at the Wingler House of Ashburn, VA. Carroll Sue was born March 4, 1932 in Tiptonville, Tennessee, to the late Thomas Oscar and Maggie Sue Carroll Laster. She retired from the County of Loudoun Purchasing and Financial Services Department having previously worked at Goose Creek Country Club. Sue loved hummingbirds, butterflies, flowers, cooking, music, traveling, and the Washington Redskins.
She is survived by her four children — Gary Atkinson and wife Maureen of Boyce, VA; Robin Atkinson of Hagerstown, MD; Lisa Jusino of Rixeyville, VA; John Atkinson of White Post, VA; a loving and dear friend Shirley Duley of Leesburg, VA; one sister Inez Belobradich of Plymouth, MI; four grandchildren — Melanie, Derek, Jessica, J.T.; three great grandchildren — Deja, Naziah, and Brian; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, Leesburg, VA, with Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. Immediately following the memorial service, friends and family will gather at the Moose Lodge #1041, 43 Catoctin Circle, Leesburg, VA.
