We're so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I had tried to talk to her on her birthday, but never did make contact, then sent a Christmas card. My husband Bob and I knew Catherine from the first grade on at Putnam City Schools. I'm sure you will hear from many us that graduate from high school together. Catherine and I and several of the girls were in Camp Fire and Horizon Girls together. Our mothers were co-leaders.
Catherine had a marvelous career in education, but even more important to her were you boys, and later her grandchildren. I wasn't aware that she had become a great grandmother.
Catherine is one of the first of our "gang" from high school that we've lost and I'm feeling so devastated. Bob and I plan to contribute to the Putnam City Alumni Association in her name.
Please accept our sincere condolences--I know how hard this is for you and Scott and Michael and all of you.
